This is the most poignant book I have ever read.In my 10th grade English class, we were assigned to read this.
I groaned at the thought. The last thing I wanted to read was a non fiction account of the Holocaust. I like my faerie tales and princess stories and so I was annoyed with having to read something so outside my realm. However, I was instantly taken by this book. It is one of the most, if not THE most, touching book I have ever read. Frankl is such a courageous man and he writes without a drop of self-pity. This is an enlightening and inspiring story. There's so much positivity and it speaks so much on the triumph of the human spirit. One of my favorite books.
