I loved this book. It's been a while since I have been so gripped by a book. I was enthralled the entire time. The writing is beauitful, the characters are so realistic and well developed, and the pace keeps you at the edge of your seat. The setting is both familar but so unique. The author takes a different path to most faerie related stories and the end result is nothing less that breath-taking. It is dark and moody throughout the entire story and very fast paced. A definite page turner. Simner does an excellent job at touching on some very deep subject matter. She handles things with a gentle hand so they come off as very subtle and not obtrusive leaving you with pure resonance. An excellent read.
